Participate in The Liszt Festival
The Franz Liszt Festival Istanbul welcomes advanced pianists, musicians and dedicated music enthusiasts from all over the world. Our intensive curriculum bridges the Romantic tradition with 21st-century performance excellence. Applicants can choose from two distinct pathways tailored to their artistic goals.
Active Participant (510 Euro)
Ideal for high level pianists and performers. This option includes intensive masterclasses with our world-renowned faculty, performance opportunities in Istanbul's historic venues, and 1-on-1 professional coaching sessions in career strategy and media training.
Passive Participant (250 Euro)
Ideal for dedicated musicians, teachers, and piano enthusiasts. Passive participants have full auditing access to all masterclasses and workshops, and are invited to attend all festival concerts and scholarly sessions without performing requirements.
How to Apply
01. Choose Your Attendance option
Determine if you wish to apply as an Active Participant for masterclasses and performance coaching, or as a Passive Participant to observe all sessions.
02. Prepare Your Information
Ready your professional bio, repertoire list, links to video recordings, and contact details for the review committee.
03. Complete the Online Form
Fill out all required fields in the application portal.
04. Pay Application Fee
Submit the non-refundable fee of 45 Euro (Active applications only) as instructed in the application form to confirm your participation request. Successful applicants will be notified on 15th May 2026
